Ike’s silly moment #spider(wo)man episode

What’s the silly thing that could happen to a 41 year old woman?  Check this out.
Arriving home from Holy Thursday mass at 8.45 pm, I knew what I had to do: ‘CLIMB  MY FRONT PORCH/TERRACE!!!!’ … as I forgot to bring my house key. Yup. Front porch because I have a secret way to open the glass door in the front porch. It sounded ok, didn’t it? Only one gruesome fact: my unit is on the first floor in British sense, not American… which means that it is one floor above the ground.
Not my first time to do it, it was my third time actually… with a slight difference. In my first two, I had Goen to help me. This time what I had were my two boys … Dito and Yogis… #sigh… Oooo … at least I should be thankful that I had them… better than none … hehe
Here came the usual detail: dragged the wheeling (big garbage) bin under the porch, topped it with an empty bottle crate and … CLIMB. All I asked from Dito and Yogis was for them to hold the wheeling bin straight, not to let it go (FYI: a wheeling bin is a bin with wheels #cheeky).
So I started the ritual (???) haha... 1. climbed the bin… 2. stood on the top of the crate,… 3. gripped the ventilation hole in the wall (another thing to thank for ‘cause the front porch wall is not the smooth wall type)… 4. aannnddd… UPPPP… hauled my body to climb over the porch.
Ooopsss… I failed my first attempt… Huft … and I started to think that I probably needed to top the first bottle crate with another one, to give me a higher platform (Do read the sentence in slooowww motiooonnn please… because I was thinking while I was swaying my legs to find a firm ground on the top of the crate and the wheeling bin… :D) ... The tip of my toe reached the crate and … BAAAAMMM… I accidently kicked the crate… sending it and the wheeling bin to tumble …
Beautiful!!! I cried at heart …
Now, I WAS LITERALLY HANGING ON THE WALL WITH MY FEET 2 meters ABOVE THE GROUND AND MY FACE ON THE WALL!!! …       (spider(wo)man style)…
With two boys laughed their heads off … below me…
#shoooottttt …
‘Get the bin back!!!’ I said.
‘Just jump mom! It is not far from the ground,’ Dito replied.
‘JUST PLACE BACK THE BIN!!!!’ I barked.
2 meters are not much height to jump I guess… but make it this way… I couldn’t see the situation clearly… my face was stuck on the wall, I couldn’t even see the ground … all I could feel was EMPTY AIR under my feet… and it scared me. What if I couldn’t find a firm ground and broke my leg(s) instead…???
Right, after dangling on the wall for a while, somehow the boys managed to put the bin back… I carefully put my feet and climbed down. Got an extra crate, I put it on the top of the first one and UPPP… I climbed again and this time was a success…
‘WOW MOM… EPIC…!!!’ the boys cheered and ran inside and up the stairs to my opening the door … leaving the mess (bin and crates) outside for me to return… L
Ps. I could have always called the manager to ask her to open my unit with her key but it was not a nice option because it was late and the next day was a holiday, Good Friday… I did not want to spoil her holiday… it really was not an easy choice…
As a result of my failed attempt and dangling on the wall, I got a terrible cut in my toe and small cuts on some fingers … ouuuccchhh…

Lol, you're hilarious! It just reminded me how I locked my self out in the middle of the night few weeks ago >_<

People say that "Things happen." ... but it seems that "tragedy" loves me ... ;p ... (or is it just a mere stupidity?).
